In celebration of Fathers everywhere, come walk, run or push a stroller for a great cause at the Dream Dash 5k hosted by the Kennesaw Dream Foundation.

The Swift Cantrell Classic is the first race in the Kennesaw Grand Prix series. Proceeds from this race benefit the Kennesaw Teen Center. This is a professionally timed race and a Peachtree qualifier (GA1103OWC).

What You Need to Know:

The Course: The race course begins at Kennesaw First Baptist Church on Main Street and runs through the historic district, looping through Swift Cantrell Park and ending right in the heart of downtown Kennesaw. It’s a scenic and mostly flat course.

NO DOGS ALLOWED IN RACE

Race Schedule: 6:30 am – 7:15 am:  Late Registration at Kennesaw First Baptist (No guarantee of t-shirt)

7:30 am:  1 Mile Fun Run begins

8:00 am: 5k begins in front of Kennesaw First Baptist

8:55 am:  Tot Trot – Downtown Kennesaw

9:15 am:  Awards Ceremony in the Plaza

Cost: Early Registration $25, Late Registration $30 (postmarked by 6/10), Race Day Registration $35 (Cash Only) 1 Mile Fun Run $15 (t-shirt and untimed bib), Phantom Runner (Mail My Shirt) $30 Tot Trot No Charge (No shirt and not timed)

Early Packet Pick-up:  (Includes race t-shirt and swag bag) Big Peach Running Company in Kennesaw, May 15th and 16th from 4 pm – 8 pm

Awards: Awards to the Top Male / Female Finishers, Top Masters Male / Female Finishers, and Top 3 Male/Female in 14 age categories

Celebration: A special VIP celebration will be held for the first 50 finishers on the upper deck at Trackside Grill. There will be food and fun in the plaza by the train tunnel entrance after the race for all participants.

Parking:  Plenty of parking is available at Kennesaw First Baptist or at any of the city’s public parking spaces
